YOU & PAH FAQ
The You and PAH’ patient portal is an electronic collection of your healthcare related information. The ‘You and PAH’ portal allows you to ‘look into’ your electronic medical record and see information from any of your Punxsutawney Area Hospital interactions. There are no costs associated with creating or using the patient portal.
The portal allows you 24/7 access via any smartphone, tablet, or computer to your healthcare information through Punxsutawney Area Hospital including:
- Lab results
- Radiology Reports
- Medications
- Immunizations
- Allergies
- Appointments and procedures scheduled with PAH Outpatient Services
Lab results are available 72 hours after they are resulted by Punxsutawney Area Hospital. Please give your provider 1-2 weeks to contact you regarding your results.
At this time, some results are not available through the portal including certain infections (including STDs) regardless of the result. This decision was carefully considered by our medical staff as they believe some tests are too sensitive or complex to be published without prior discussion between the provider and patient.
Yes, messages sent and received via My Record-Patient Portal automatically become part of your medical record.
Currently, anyone over the age of 18 is permitted to create a patient portal account. Among this group, anyone legally authorized to view another person’s health information may be given access to the patient portal for that person.
As the owner of your patient portal account, you control who has access to your account. You are responsible for the security, confidentiality, and integrity of your username and password.
The ‘You and PAH’ website is safeguarded and compliant with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
