Announcement: Starting September 1st- New EMR
Posted on September 01, 2026 in News
Punxsutawney Area Hospital (PAH) is excited to announce that we are migrating to a new Electronic Health Record system called Cerner. Cerner’s state-of-the-art software will help our clinicians drive quality and positive outcomes for our patients by having one medical record that is shared between the hospital, the PAH physician practices, clinics, and other specialty services. Having your medical record in one location allows your physicians and providers to efficiently communicate and coordinate your care.
The Cerner system will be available for use by Punxsutawney Area Hospital healthcare providers and clinics beginning September 1, 2026.
Your existing portal will continue to provide access to historical medical information, while the new patient portal will provide access to information available through the new Cerner system.
The new Cerner patient portal and your current patient portal will be able to be accessed by visiting Portal.PAH.org.
Portal.PAH.org will provide convenient features to help you manage your health information and communicate with your care team, including:
Pay your bill in one location
Receive automated reminders of upcoming appointments
Review certain test results and your health history
Request a prescription refill from your physician practice
Schedule an appointment with your physician practice
Send a message to your physician practice
Access to Portal.PAH.org will be provided after you have been seen by your health care provider for the first time on or after September 1, 2026. During the registration process, you will be asked if you are interested in access to the new Cerner patient portal. If you are interested, you will be asked to provide an e-mail address. An invitation to join the new Portal.PAH.org will be sent to the e-mail address provided. The e-mail invitation will contain instructions on how to access your medical information.
Thank you for your patience during this transition!
